These mailboxes are low-maintenance and do not require annual painting. However, here are some tips and recommendations to ensure your mailbox always looks great!
Use car wax on the top of the post and mailbox to prevent bird droppings. Birds enjoy sitting on the top.
Use lemon juice and salt slush mixture to clean the brass handle.
Use a lubricant or cooking oil on a rag, wipe the hinge generously and open/close the door to fix squeaky door.

All aluminum components.ย Post is constructed of heavy duty extruded aluminum measuring 6" x 6" at base, tapering up to a 4" x 4" square cast post. Mailbox is cast aluminum and bolted to the post from the back of the mailbox creating one of the most solid and firm construction feels in the mailbox industry.
Total cost is quoted to be $499 per property to remove/install new mailbox and post. See quote.
The new mailbox will have a pyramid topper instead of the round photo.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENT
Dear Homeowners,
The Board of Directors approved a Special Assessment of $249.50 per household, on June 8th, 2024, to fund the replacement of mailboxes throughout our community (31 units).
The 2024 budget allocated funds for mailbox maintenance at 50% of the cost to replace the mailboxes. The remaining 50% will be the responsibility of each respective homeowner(s). While the original estimated quote from October 16th, 2023, was $15,159.00, material costs had a de-minimis increase due to general inflation.
As of the writing of this notice, the current cost is $15,469.00 ($499.00 per household). Therefore, a total Special Assessment of $249.50 per household (50% of the total) has been assessed which shall be split into two installments:
First Installment: $124.75 due on July 15, 2024
Second Installment: $124.75 due on December 15, 2024
